Role : Business Development Executive

This role involves overseeing all the aspects of the branch and achieving Branch Sales targets as the branch in-charge by,

  • increasing brand awareness for the business.
  • promoting a positive image of the company and its products and services.

Job Overview

Duties include, but not limited to,

  • Handle branch customers in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Achieve daily, weekly and monthly sales targets assigned to the branch in all the business lines by implementing variety of sales strategies.
  • Effectively handle parcel customers by assisting them to pack the parcels and passing respective parcel details to the back office to process the invoices.
  • Convert Money Transfer Customers by promoting daily transfer rates and other benefits.
  • Call new and existing customers based on leads provided by the back office, promote Parcel Service, Money Transfer and Wholesale business of the company to customers, convert the maximum number of customers and generate new leads to achieve sales targets.
  • Safely manage cash received at the branch and ensure to tally the accounts accurately at the end of each day.
  • Attend events sponsored by the company in order to promote the services and generate new leads.
  • Perform all administrative tasks including documentation and reporting.
  • Attend company meetings representing the branch to report branch performance.
  • Maintain the branch neat and tidy by sorting the parcels properly.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Passion for Sales and achieving targets set by the management.
  • Detail-oriented and organised, capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, able to take initiative and contribute innovative ideas.
  • Customer relationship management.
  • Cash Management.

Qualifications

  • Graduate preferably in Business Administration. Candidates with Qualifications in any other areas are also considered.
  • Candidates who are on any type of dependant visas or graduate visas with a minimum remaining time period of 1 year OR with indefinite leave to remain or British Citizenship will only be considered. No immediate skilled worker visa sponsorship will be provided.
  • Must be proficient in English and Tamil languages. Ability to speak Sinhala language is an advantage.
  • Experienced preferably in managing a branch and handling customers face to face. Candidates with experience in other fields are also considered.
  • Knowledge and experience of Logistics and Freight Fowarding, Money Remittance and Currency Exchange businesses is preferred.
