What are Navagrahas? Navagrahas temples are temples dedicated to the nine major celestial bodies of the Hindu astronomy. (Surya (Sun), Chandra (Moon), Mangala (Mars), Budha (Mercury), Brihaspati (Jupiter), Shukra (Venus), Shani (Saturn), Rahu (North Lunar Node) and Ketu (South Lunar Node). ) The Navagraha temples, situated in TamilNadu, the southern part of India, depicts the nine planets of the solar system each dedicated to nine planetary deities.
